That’s why consumers need insurance agents. We are the front line of consumer protection. We assist the consumer in making wise insurance buying decisions and help them understand what it is they are purchasing.

Developing a relationship with a consumer and motivating him to purchase a product takes an enormous amount of targeted and costly advertising.

That’s why the insurance companies need agents. We are the tools they use to reach and market to large quantities of consumers at a fraction of the cost of direct marketing.

we are responsible for and bound to keeping a balance. We must serve the consumer and at the same time be responsible to the companies we represent. We must ensure that the consumer receives the right insurance coverage at the best possible value, and we must ensure that the insurance companies receive the risk that fits their underwriting models.

Over the last few years in Texas, the political battle of consumers vs. the insurance companies has been costly to the independent agents of this state. While rates have been reduced to help the consumer, insurance companies have cut the commissions to the independent agent in order to manage their costs.

However, we cannot be asked to develop our business at a loss. There is a balance. We understand the needs of all three parties: consumers, companies and agents. We seek to develop relationships with the leaders of this great state to ensure the needs of all three parties are satisfied. We are the PAC that seeks to promote, “The Insurance Balance”.
